Zenon amps don't really like anything higher than 4v preouts the gains should be set accordingly to how high the preout voltage is. id say you were clipping the subs

alright ive been thinking about stuff about how the surround just blew off cuz rusty said he would of noticed that it was poorly glued so to homedepo after school. and aobut the chipping i thnik its that i was using my ipod all the time when i notice the stink but on the radio and cds i dont really remever ever smeling them. so i got to get a hu with ipod usb on it.

and does anyone think it might be the design of the box? cuz if it is then yay rebuild but if its not then what?

well he didnt notice mine wasnt glued right so maybe he didnt notice yours either, regardless you want a foam type glue, ca glue will eat through the surround, i would send you the rest of mine but in the 9 months its been sitting in the cupboard its hard as a rock lol

thats what i was told by multiple people, hence why rusty overnighted me the foam glue

i pmd him and he said to get some goop, i got it i just need to clean the basket a lil more and glue it

well heres something worth bumping this thing. so i 4ch got so hot flex melted and spread across the input board, and then 2 transducers i think it was fell off the main board once we took off the heat sink that was holding them on, and one of them the leads fell right out of it so im ordering a new one. and now the input 1 on the one of the 2000 is fried gonna figure that out still but the subs in the 2nd channel now.

Idk how many people noticed yet but I got another ride so once I get the explorer on the road this is going into the barn and everythings getting torn out. Gonna try and sell a lot of it and then going to start the long sexy rebuild and it's going to be made into a comp/show truck.
