brewer_brewer
there is a button to the lower right of the volume knob. hold it for a couple seconds. then go to general. then scroll down to "power ic" and turn it on. the button is the one with the F on it (says setup under it) to the right of the "go back" button. http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/p...ng=en&tab=A Quote REFS http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/itrader.php?u=2026 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/44535-official-brewer-brewer-feedback/page__p__625998__hl__brewer__fromsearch__1entry625998 "you're not allowing natural selection to work, you're like the guy that invented the seatbelt"

EricR
it did not work. i am going to hook up my memphis amp and see if it works then.... Quote i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? kingsuv
Some decks will shut off the internal amp when connected to an external processor like an imprint or H701. make sure this setting is not turned on without an external processor. Sometimes it's a manual switch on the underside / back of the deck it's self. Other times it's in the setup menu. Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

Jville140db
Under the rear deck of your car is a factory amp and you have the power antenna hooked up to the factory amp turn on as the remote wire. Make sure that the wire going to turn on your amps or the blue wire on the harness you bought for the car has the blue/white wire hooked to it from the alpine not solid blue that should fix the problem Edited August 2, 2009 by Jville140db Quote Car is 2010 Scion Tc Currently in car Deck- Sony XAV-60 in-dash mobile video system Speakers- Rockford Punch 6.5in comps in the front and coax in the rear Subs- 2 Gen 3 Rockford P3 12's dual 4 ohm Amps- Rockford P1000-1bd and P400-4 Alpine Mrp-f300 is in for P400-4 which is out to service Wiring- all rockford nuff said Enclosure- Dual 12in custom box by SRQ Battery- Optima Yellow top with big 3 done Sound Damping- All Dynamat products 1-2 layers throughout with liner on top Link to my build log- http://down4sound.co...=newpost&t=5275 Link to my youtube- http://www.youtube.c...ser/Jville140db MECP Advanced CEA # 110531 BassBox 6 Pro for Box Building/Re audio box calculator If you can hear the passenger it aint loud enough!!!!!!! EricR
im not using any amps. but why would the radio work fine and not the cd or ipod. Jville140db
im not using any amps.but why would the radio work fine and not the cd or ipod. check the connections on your harness and see what wire is attached to the blue wire on the harness you bought for the car if its blue to blue then change it to blue/white from the alpine to blue on the car harness and you should be all set like I said you have a factory amp under your rear deck it is a silver box looks like it is one big heat sink edit- the reason it only works on tuner is because the blue wire you have hooked up from the alpine is the power antenna it only has 12v while the radio is on tuner Edited August 2, 2009 by Jville140db Quote Car is 2010 Scion Tc Currently in car Deck- Sony XAV-60 in-dash mobile video system Speakers- Rockford Punch 6.5in comps in the front and coax in the rear Subs- 2 Gen 3 Rockford P3 12's dual 4 ohm Amps- Rockford P1000-1bd and P400-4 Alpine Mrp-f300 is in for P400-4 which is out to service Wiring- all rockford nuff said Enclosure- Dual 12in custom box by SRQ Battery- Optima Yellow top with big 3 done Sound Damping- All Dynamat products 1-2 layers throughout with liner on top Link to my build log- http://down4sound.co...=newpost&t=5275 Link to my youtube- http://www.youtube.c...ser/Jville140db MECP Advanced CEA # 110531 BassBox 6 Pro for Box Building/Re audio box calculator If you can hear the passenger it aint loud enough!!!!!!!
