sean 371 Posted April 3, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 3, 2007 Thanks for the feedback guys! and yea i had ordered 4 led strips from hong kong, two of them are under my dash, and i was planning on putting two under the back seat, but I blew one on accident, so I had one left to do something with, so I just hot glued it to the top of the box! Hopefully it'll light up pretty well. And I'd hate to weld up brackets to the car, I don't like doing permanent changes, so I'll probably just use some sheet metal screws and a few L brackets. I'm about to go cut the top piece and the holes out for the amps. When I finally cut it out after a gripload of measuring, it was just off enough for it not to work right. Then I remembered about the thickness of carpet, and had to trim out both holes again! But I got it done after a few hours of wrestling with it. My jigsaw's tiiired. And so am I. That's a lotta cutting. Now, all I have to do is cut out the holes for the amps, which should go pretty quick, and carpet this baby and throw it in the truck! Give me a few days tho, I gotta wait for the carpet to get here first. Didn't want any wood to show if theres a small gap. But while it bled it bled a lot haha. I can see where it went in the finger and where it came out! haha it's pretty gnarly, the nail went through half my finger.
