sean 371 Posted April 4, 2007 Report Share Posted April 4, 2007 If you run the coils in series (pos on amp to pos on Coil 1, neg on Coil 1 to pos on Coil 2, neg on Coil 2 to neg on amp) then it will double the ohm load. If you run parallel, it will halve it. So if you're getting a 1 ohm stable amp and 2 subs, get dual 1 ohm subs. You'd wire each sub's coils in series, and then the subs together in parallel.
