Dual 1 Or 2 Ohms

im unsure of which subs to order, the dual 1 ohm or dual 2 ohms

i dont know which amp i plan on running so which would be better in the end. i dont even know what 1 ohm pulls parallel and series

any advice. subs are gonna be fi BL's with cooling, flatwind for daily use

If you run the coils in series (pos on amp to pos on Coil 1, neg on Coil 1 to pos on Coil 2, neg on Coil 2 to neg on amp) then it will double the ohm load. If you run parallel, it will halve it. So if you're getting a 1 ohm stable amp and 2 subs, get dual 1 ohm subs. You'd wire each sub's coils in series, and then the subs together in parallel.
