Id go to an upolsty shop to pick up vynal most of the time they will gave stuff thRs far superior to joanns in that category.

Btw if you want leather expect to pay 200 a yard or 2000 for a decent quality small hide.

Skittles doors look Very good just measure everyway you can to make the two pods the same.

idk about no upholstery shop they will rip me off im fine with joanns,and the best thing they have there is the most expensive and its nice,and im going to get it,it dont have to be REAL leather to when i enter my car it smells like a Russian mafia wear house,i want something that looks nice and u will see when i get it what i mean..

thanks a lot but honestly... im making it up as i go along. its not like i have years of experiance making pods and stuff. i just get the idea for a project and i do it. you can do the same thing man. just dont be afraid to mess up and take all the advice you can get. thats what i do.

actualy... the panels are different sizes. there is a clearance issue in one spot on the doors so im just putting the rings to get around that spot.

speakers are arriving today! im going to be pissed that i cant play with them till next week. anyone want to help me wrap these pods? no idea how im going to stop it from wrinkling. and what glue holds vinyl? my spray on stuff didnt do so well.

do you mean the fleece? ya man, you have to use something that streches pretty good. under all the leather, in my car, there seems to be some foam so im adding foam to my pods as well. so itll feel nice and soft but at the same time... no bondo! just sanded them all pretty smooth and the foam will do the rest.

keep at it man. my second pod came out a lot better than the 1st and im sure your next one will be a lot better too. than sanding part REALLY tells out how to glass better lol.

the contact cement i have wouldnt tack up with how cold it is. alpine wants to glue down wood pieces so we can staple it down. i want to use the 3M fabric glue. not sure what number it is... maybe 90, but it's supposed to be like contact cement and ive read that it'll hold vinyl to glass. what do you think of that?

yesterday was full of fail. lol. we cant get the vinyl to strech enough to be smooth. so im off to the store to get something else. maybe some suede will lay down better.

I feel ya skittles!!!!!!!!!! Fuck wrapping!!!!! I know when you get it done it will look sick- im tuned In for the result. If I ever get a damn day free ill have to try and make a trip out (no promises lol) I know P wants to bring out the jeep for a bit as well.

i had to get help wraping these pods. the gut that did it wasnt even sure if it could be done but he proved his skilles and got that shit done.

we used foam to give it a soft feel.

then i took it to my buddy at CK auto image

i think he runs a chop shop too lmao. seriously though, this is a bad ass show car. its getting a new engine and a whole lot of other shit.
