Sutliff
Name is Jason, & I live near Syracuse, NY, USA. I am disabled due to a workplace injury in 2001. I discovered who Steve was approximately two years ago while fussin' around on YouTube. I was looking up/at car audio stuff. A while later a search of Steve turned up SMD, & I discovered the link for these Forums ... & I signed up .... May 2012, & became a Bronze Member that November ... I felt access to this type of community was worth it. 532 posts, & 1 warning point later, ... Trayten
Hey guys, how's everyone? I'm Trayten, I'm 16, young I know, always been into cars and loud systems. I live in good ol South Dakota! I love it! Not really, it's not great lol, I do love the winters cause I love snow a lot. In the near future I plan to buy a DC XL 15 for my Caddy. Just had a wreck about a month and a half ago where some idiot t-boned me at an intersection.. he even had a stop sign LOL. He can't see apparently. Now I got my '88 Caddy just looking to do some upgrades to that. I'm still learning about car audio so I will have some probably stupid questions but hey, I don't expect myself to know much about subs yet. I've only had 1 system so far and that was in my first car that I wrecked. 2 Memphis 10's on 500 watts total, sealed box no extra batteries or electrical or anything obviously, so I haven't really gotten into big game yet. I'm looking forward to meeting you all and asking my questions, been following meade for a long time now, probably 3 years, and I just had to get something bigger than my 10's after watching how good the DC's really are.. Big ups to the guys at DC, you guys do some crazy work! I'm open to messages from anyone and everyone, introducing yourself or if you just wanna chat or whatever, I'll be checking back on this forum probably frequently to see how many people actually read this crap and posted something back to me about this. kr0nic
Hi Guys Names MikeComputer tech / mechanic / engineer /Gamer Found you on you tube first then found this site , absolutely awesome place to separate bullshit from fact, I have learned so much in my short time here , and everytime i learn something i find something else i know nothing about lol, its a pity i live in New Zealand in some ways , as its near impossible to get any quality audio gear here with shipping and import taxes ect so im stuck running a sound magus dk1800 Amp and an alpine SWR 12d4 in a slot port tuned to 29hz , but it pumps pretty good for a single 12, would be so much better with a real amp and sub but oh well it massages the back and annoys the neighbors Pretty well as it is for now, i wil be upgrading to some real gear when i win the lotto lol, intill then ill be trawling the site Dreaming of what could be
Trayten
Lol. Nice to meet you Mike! Damn, everything you listed job-wise is similar to my plans as for what I want to do after high school (just options obviously). If anyone knows what it is, I plan on going to WyoTech in Wyoming, US, for Automotive Technology. But hey Mike, if you get something, I'd recommend going big and doing it right the first time if you say shipping is going to be expensive. I'm sure your system is pretty nice though man, at least it works!
