raytard
howd you not break 140 with the world's loudest sub in your car? go back to that and give it the power it wants and a box it deserves, I've seen them do mid 140's with a daily tune. but then again any of the subs you listed there should've been able to do it. Just remember that a good box can be worth 15db on the mic Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC

creyc
Single 15" BL in a well designed box will get what you want. While the (2) 12's would fit somewhat tightly and provide more cone area, they would perform better with a bit more power. That amp is perfect to get one BL moving hard, and you wouldn't be cramming it into too small of a box. 2001 Chevy Blazer (2) SAZ-3000Ds (2) custom 18" Madmax subs in a second row wall Rockford 600-4 Pioneer PRS components Pioneer P800PRS deck

Boon
A single 8. I kid you not 1 single 8" sub will go 140. There must have been something TERRIBLY wrong with your boxes. Remedy that first before splashing money around on subs. Was your port a garden hose or something? 10.x volts fo' life!
