well I have got a tahoe you could buy thats already got beat in it while you plan on your build lol.

my mom has a 2001 suburban and compared to a tahoe you can fit A LOT more beat into it and still have room for batteries and amps.

tahoes are very easy to disassemble and there is lots of room to run wires. the dash comes off easy to get behind the head unit.

you have access to TONS of accessories if you don't like the look of it.

most alternator companies on here offer GMC alts and alt brackets so you don't need to get much custom work.

you can fit 4 alternators :D

tons of leg and head room.

the only downside is the fact that sure things are easy to take off and put back on but don't do it too much they use clips for just about everything and some break if you aren't careful and I mean break on the plastic not on the metal clip itself. and if you wear them out then they are more prone to fall or snap or come off while you have your beat cranked.

I would say go for a tahoe just because it is a little more compact a suburban is too long IMO and feels more like a bus and tahoes you can find relatively cheap for 2000-2003 NBS

Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

Yea' buddy ! That's what I'm talking about :)

Tahoes are sweet too.

Errrrr.... hey, how about an old, retired UPS truck :-) You could probably fit about 30, 18"s in there :yahoo:

What can brown do for you ?

Peace,

Fish
