BigPimpin91
Here's my own little in car testing. Car Off Voltage Amperage Wattage DC 11.64 136 1583 AC 96 14.6 1401.6 Impedance Rise of 6.57Ω. 88.5% Efficiency Car On Voltage Amperage Wattage DC 12.48 143.4 1785.8 AC 102.4 14.5 1484.8 Impedance Rise of 7.06Ω 83% Efficiency Let me state some things here. I did a total of four burps per chart you see there. I had to look at each meter individually since none of them had a peak hold function. These were averages not peaks. I did the car on test after slamming on it for a few minutes so my charging voltage was relatively low. If I could get box rise down, I have no doubts of this amp doing rated power @ 14.4v. It's rated 2000w @ 4Ω, and I'm assuming 14.4v rated. It just put up damn near 1500w @ 7Ω @ 12.5v.... BigPimpin91's Banging Music

A 3000D @ .5Ω will help with some of that rise. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif Oh, and BTW, AudioPipe 3k's WILL NOT run @ .5Ω bridged, almost instant protect as soon as you turn it up. Boon
Using a true RMS meter? I dare say you can divide those numbers by the square root of 2... Interesting to think that it's doing 100vac across the outputs though... I bet people don't appreciate the similarity between their wall sockets and a big amplifier @ 50hz... 10.x volts fo' life! Here in the US it's 60 hertz frequency, but yeah. I've seen people running saws and drills from their amplifiers. Not Sure on the RMS thing.I used a Craftsman DC Clamp Meter. A Really nice DMM meter for A/C. Cheap-O Harbor Freight for A/C Current. RadioShack for D/C Voltage.
