01xtreme
im not against it at all, i just want to do it right....i have the newest version on my phone - got info? links? Yeah, my iphone has version 3.1.2. I used Blackra1n to jailbreak it (stupid easy), then downloaded rock and cydia. Rock has an application called MyWi. To buy the app costs 10 bucks, but there is a free 9 day trial. It will allow either wired tethering, bluetooth tethering, or actual wireless tethering through a network on your phone. I'll look up more info for you. Blackra1n is really stable, I've been jailbroken for about a month and had absolutely no issues what so ever. Found this on a quick google search. Features:- Create WiFi Hotspot to connect mutiple laptops or mobile devices to share your iPhone's internet connection - 40 bit and 104 bit WEP Security to prevent others from accessing your WiFi HotSpot - Ability to enable USB and Bluetooth Tethering on your iPhone as well - Broadcasts the Network Name (SSID) - no need to fuss with creating an adhoc network on your laptop - Uses less battery and much faster then PdaNet due to native routing - Shows up and down bandwith usage Edited November 18, 2009 by 01xtreme Quote My System: Pioneer AVH-P3200BT 4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors) 8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash) 1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs) 2-18" BTL's (for now) Crescendo 3kwp (for sale) Complete rebuild coming soon... meade916
Elvis: there is a headphone/lineout jack on the back of the mac. That goes directly into the pioneer and after relabeling "Aux1" to "Carputer", its just another source now. Pretty easy actually.
