1992Chevy K1500 Posted August 16, 2009 Author Report Share Posted August 16, 2009 At my high school parking lot. I use to have a problem with people cyphoning(sp?) my gas. Then I bought a locking gas tank cap and did what a buddy did to prevent the same thing. I have some wire mesh at the end of the gas tank "neck" (whatever the official term is). It doesn't hurt anything when filling up because it was designed for use in gas tanks but it prevents my gas from being cyphoned(sp?). I won't be driving my truck to college, I'll likely be driving a beater pickup instead.
