Twigz
Well, I'm in a stock head unit, the volume doesn't even go that high and I don't have an amp to run my components so i'm sick of bumping with the bass only being loud enough to not drown out the vocals. It's a 07 cobalt so I need to buy a mounting bracket? Anyways i'm open to ideas just throw out brands & links & prices, and what I need so I can put it in. The Equipment is a 4. cu ft Box 38 hz 2 12 Dc lvl 4's duel 1's and Crunch Gp 3000, Kinetic 2400, and 275 Amp (Big 111 not finished). Fear The Quack! Guest
Big 111? damn thats alot of wire sorry i had to...but i would go with the Alpine series for a headunit. check crutchfields car audio fitting "calculator" to find what fits in your cobalt. linky: http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/autoinf...0%26tp%3d9&
3gAccord
I've personally ran the Clarion CZ309 and the Kenwood 442U, and I must say, the Kenwood is better, but I'm gonna run the clarion. The Kenwood has a USB port in the front(The Clarion does too), a really easy audio setup with front AND rear seperate HPF, and they both have sub controls, but the clarion is a little harder to setup untill you figure it out. The Clarion was $140 and the Kenwood was $150 at the same shop (on my discount). My latest project; 87 Accord Hatchback!... Only got my 6 1/2's in it right now... I'm working on shining my engine to show quality right now, then I'll put it in. System will come around the 1st.
