how do you tin 1/0 gauge wire?

i was wondering how do you go about tinning 1/0gauge wire? would i use a soldering iron torch?

torch would be the best a iron on 1/0 will take forever. there might be some vids on this site, not sure if it was about soldering terminals? but they were using 1/0

bcuz i know everyone hates when u take the wire out the amp how some of the strands break off from the terminal being real tight

well a while back i read some one post talking about how they tin the tips so that wont happen had a pic to it was real clean. i think steve said he did it a couple of times too.

Yeah, but you also take your awesome copper to gold plating connection and introduce a layer of lumpy tin/lead between them = fail.
