Aeroports help

Ok im looking to use aeroport in my next box. The only problem is i dont fully understand how to decide the diameter vs. how many aeroports to use. If someone could chime in and help me out itd be greatly appreciated. Ive searched around the forum but have had no such luck. long day and tired of searching.

I understand how to calculate it out with like one 6" port...but my problem is i have a 13cube box. How would i figure out how many?

how many, and how big are ur subs?

aeros are a bit different...they are more efficient ...so u can get away with less port area.

4 SSD 15's. 13cube box. shootin for 35-38hz.

honestly id try to do four 6" ports, but 6" aeros are like 9.5" in diameter (outer mounting flange is)...so im not sure if u would have enough room

you can get away with about 8 to 10 sq inches of port per cube, so multiply that by 13 cubes, and the area of a circle is pi r*r,

i was kind of wondering how to figure out tuning for multiple aeros as well

Ok so shoot for four...and when using multiple ports, when the calculator says 15" for ports lenght each has to be 15"....correct? just using 15" as an example

your take ur volume and divide by the number of ports u have, and then figure tuning, and thats how long each port should be...

so take 13cubes/4ports=3.25cubes use that as ur volume and one six inch port in ur equation and get ur tuning....then whatever length u come up with, every port needs to be that long..

so yea, if it says 15" long, then they all should be that long
