This will be the start of my review on these things.

I recently bought 2 sets of 6.5" and 1 set of 5.25" components.

This review may be a little biased since I have never owned components before besides the stock Bose in my car.

They have a very nice sleek looking design with the carbon fiber cone and chrome bullet.

You can unscrew the chrome and put the tweeter in and use it as a coaxial set there is even an extra set of terminals for this reason.

The crossovers are very clean as well with an input, woofer and tweeter.

I am desperate to hear these things so I hooked it up to an old stereo I had and just based off that the tweeter sounds a little harsh but very loud.

The midbass is very impressive on both the 6.5" and 5.25"

They are both sitting on my desk hooked up and the stereo right next to it playing an old rap CD I had and at around half volume it is causing the CD to skip.

I will have a more in depth review when I get these installed.

I am waiting to get a Sundown SAX-100.4 and wait for these things to scream :)

Joo got B stock :P

They are $150 MSRP and they will handle about 100 watts.

T3 Audio Specs

Same shiiiittt just less crossover shit but no need to worry about that when you have one right there with your components/tweeters(right? lol)

yeah just less options if you wanted to run all your tweeters on that one amp but you have the 360.2 anyways.

but back on topic I'm going to try some sound quality songs and see how they sound so far I am impressed with the rap

any updates?

yup :D

I've got...

2 tweeters in the A-Pillar

2 6.5" in the front doors

2 5.25" in the rear doors

2 tweeters in the D-Pillar (temporary until I get an amp from there they will go in the rear doors)

my first impression off of just the headunit with no EQ was that they did not get very loud but they sounded great.

tweeters were very bright and the midbass was very strong.

next day I fixed my EQ and my god :shok:

everything went to the next level.

on my Alpine deck there are Bass -7 - 0 - +7 and Treble -7 - 0 - +7

I had to turn down the treble to 0 because it was so harsh and overpowering compared to the midbass.

I have played all different sorts of genres of music and not one has let me down.

Rap is very loud and with the sub off the mids can pick up a lot of the notes.

White Girl the way my box is tuned doesn't like that 50hz note but my mids do :)

Rock the kicks are very tight and vocals very clear.

my only complaint which some could say is user error is the tweeter hisses at any volume level and from testing it on 3 different sources all outside of my car it has to be the tweeter.

I can't wait to get an amp on these and get some serious power to them to see how they really sound but for right now they have a lot of potential :)
