After beating the living hell out of them, not correctly setting my gain and just making their life miserable. They lasted for about 1 1/2 years. I'm amazed seeing how it was my first system. Now, i'm getting into car audio and want to begin my second system. I'm not set on 4 type - R 12's i'm open for opinions. I would highly appreciate everybody's opinions. This will all be going in a 1997 Honda Accord 4door. andym85 Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 there is no way u can fit four of those...ur looking at 4.735 cubes before any sub or port displacement...two would be the most u could run type r's are good...what is ur budget for subs? i likes me some audio stuff...
