Hello SMD, I am trying to figure out what amp I should use for my 2 Kicker L5 15s. I will be running them in series at 2 ohms. A friend of mine has 2 amps available for me, Kicker 750.1 and 1500.1. They both are a steal (price wise lol) so i just now want to make sure I put the correct amp.

Basically, Kicker 750.1 for 2 kicker L5 15s or Kicker 1500.1 for 2 kicker L5 15s?

Alright, so the 1500.1 wont over power them? And then I am assuming the 750.1 wont be able to supply both the subs with 750 watts necessary?

The answer to both of those questions is not at 2ohms they won't.

All kicker amps are rated at 2ohm stable. and if your running both l5s together at 2ohms nominal than the 1500.1 is perfect for them.

Those subs are a dvc sub and if they are a dual 2 coil you will run them like this to get a 2 ohm load.
