meade916 Posted August 31, 2009 Report Share Posted August 31, 2009 david is correct. the site hasnt had a bandwith problem in a LONG time....two weeks ago it did (or 3 weeks i forget) and just yesterday. We are growing as fast as ever so this will happen from time to time. No need to move the vids on smdmedia.net its a totally different server and its doing fine...lots of the vids are already pointing to youtube anyway. thanks for the advice on what i should do but on the real, this is a big site and has tons of traffic.....as the years go by the demand will go up. Ill just buy more bandwith whenver this happens. Its part of having a site like this you just have to deal with it. I used to own half of www.boxstr.com and when I was running it we were 12,000 alexa... our bandwidth bill was 6k a month and we were pushing 60TB+ a month in bandwidth... haha. Bummer that they ran it into the ground :\ Idiots. I have good connections for cheap bw and servers if you're ever interested steve... just throwing it out there.
