I have a some what modded case myelf not as crazy as yours just a few windows and neons and the fans drive me crazy there too loud thanks man, just havin fun that computer isnt really loud at all....ive had much louder. meade916 Posted October 2, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 2, 2006 when did you build this? i would say you shoulda gone with intel core 2 extreme x6800 much more efficent processor i built it last feb i think.....i bought intels best processor at the time and paid $1100 for it. A lot of people told me what i shoulda done and their advice was heard but in the end this thing turned out bad-f#ckin' ass and still is. Hasnt deviated more than 3-4degrees ever and he uses it every single day. Oh, im wrong the water resevoir *sp was low and when the temp went up a little he knew it right away......topped it off and back in business. Anyway it dont matter what i used in the build i woulda got the "you shoulda done this-that" no matter what LOL. One other question though - I personally have the black steel version of the case, and it has another hard drive cage at the bottom in the front. I assume the alluminum version has the same thing, (especially since I see it in the pics ) so why use the one with a 90mm fan that also kinda blocks the power supply instead of using the one at the bottom with the 120mm fan? i dont know why i did that, i just did it lol.....works fine.
