We got it for when we are working in trunks and need to crimp. Works fucking awesome... anyone interested in pics? 1992Chevy K1500 Posted September 2, 2009 Report Share Posted September 2, 2009 I ususally do a combination of both. Tin the leads with solder and crimp it as best as you can and finish soldering. Wrap in a heat shrink boot. As long as it's strong and done right, you're good to go.
