My I want a box geared towards hair tricks and overall just being LOUD. i have a Rockford t1500.1 with around 2000 RMS at 2ohms. I know that large port area help with this but what do you guys think? They are def. loud but i think they could use more port area.

specs now.

16.5 X 38 X 21 using .75 MDF

port

15 X 3 X 12.75 deep

Thanks for your time.

lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz.

you should try using flared ports. they work really good, plus, you can experiment on tuning easily

After playing with my Type R 15 I would suggest atleast 4 cu ft per sub with a lot of port area tuned low. atleast 100 sq in of port.

I had one in a daily box that pounded super hard.

4.3 cu ft tuned to 40Hz with 112.5 sq in of port area...sounded good too
