If ya still have a problem with the Engine noise try taking 12 gauge speaker wire and wrapping it aroud the end of your Rcas on your hu and grounding it to you HU by attatching a ring terminal and attatch the ringterminal wuith wire to a screw on your hu

ok ill try that later on, its the first time its ever done it any other system that was in truck it never done it.could it be the amp?

make sure your RCAs r plugged in all the way, I had noise in a car and thats what the problem was.

Now I know I heard today that the problem is the alternator

Is your RCA cables beside your power wire to your amplifier, the noise is the extra voltage coming from your alternator. when you start driving the alternator gets more power so it travels throught the power wire and it makes a reving noise

So you have to put your rca on the opposite side from the power wire ok
