Amalan
eh looking back at the wiring guide sticky in this section it looks like i may want to go with 8 gauge to be safe 10 gauge: ~34.6 amperes 8 ohms - <9600 watts 6 ohms - <7200 watts 4 ohms - <4800 watts 3 ohms - <3600 watts 2 ohms - <2400 watts 1 ohm - <1200 watts 8 gauge: ~55 amperes 8 ohms - <24000 watts 6 ohms - <18000 watts 4 ohms - <12000 watts 3 ohms - <9000 watts 2 ohms - <6000 watts 1 ohm - <3000 watts running 1800 @ 1ohm eh i think 8 would be ideal
ChevyBoy
you could stay 12. it all depends on how far you have to run it.
Amalan
well i bought some 8 gauge wire was pretty cheap a dollar a foot so im going to make a final video of everything connected just to make sure everything is connected right cause if its connected wrong and the polarities are reversed then itll blow out my stock headunit amp and headunit which wont be covered under warranty so i have to make sure everything is completely right.
