98HOEONSIXEZ Posted January 30, 2010 Author Report Posted January 30, 2010 so do yall want the good news or the bad news first? guess ill start with the bad news So the new screen that i bought which was the "screen only" ended up not fixing the "washed out look" that my first screen had,swapped the screens and it still had that look.So that was a non refundable part,so 250 on that down the drain.Now im having to ship the whole screen to xenarc to let them look at it to see if they can fix it. FML hold on,thats not it lol. the vynal that i bought was from a different company so it ended up not being the exact same color so we decided that we would take the box out and rewrap it,with the same color vynal.they get the box out and pull the vynal off and guess what...where that water was leaking in had soaked into the box,mildew,rott and all that was going on...AWESOME..so im having to get ANOTHER box built..gotta love that. The good news,FINALLY got my 6 sets of new components one of the bad things about having a big system,instead of having to buy 1 or 2 sets of components...you get to buy 6!

abervintageman42 Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 maybe lol one thing i did in my red truck to keep it from leaking was stuck automotive rubber vacuum hose inside the center of the weather strip so it would kind of puff out a bit and prevent leaks
