Recommended Posts

so i have these 12in type r's... http://i739.photobucket.com/albums/xx33/80...alpinetyper.jpg and as u can c it has the pos. to the pos. and the neg. to the neg. This would make it now at 2 ohms right?? (help me out...i slept a little in science :01nocomment8so: ) so what if i ran wires from the bak of 1 sub to the bak of the other, and then bridged on the amp...would the amp c a 1 ohm load??? Will this do damage to n e thing??

Yes. They are dual 4ohm. Then they are wired in parallel making them each now 2ohm. So if you then take each positive and put them together on the amp and each negative too, it will show the amp a 1ohm load.

If your amp is 1ohm stable then you will be fine.

very much appreciated... :friends:
