I was told by the seller that these amps don't like to be hot (well, what electronic device really does). Although the climate in Texas is a bit hotter than the climate here in Canada... He recommended that I build some sort of fan cooled amp rack. I'm not quite sure how to do it.. any suggestions. I like the idea and I can weld.. so a metal rack is a possibility, plus I can get various sized PC fans. 2005 Blazer Build... Mach 5 SPL-12s, Audiopipe AP3000.1D..

Go take a look at his build log because its a simple idea but it will definitely keep his amps cool. Go to home depot and buy a sheet of LEXAN to make a clear amp cover on the bottom (replacing the metal cover that is currently on the amp) Take that cover you just removed, and trace its outline on the sheet of lexan you just bought. Cut it out, and test fit it, should be perfect. Then get a 120mm (convert to inches) hole saw, and drill yourself out 2 holes per amp (I will have mine 1 on each end) and install your 120mm fans that you can buy on newegg for just a few bones each. Very easy mod, and should provide some usefull life into this amp, as apparently they do run warm/hot. I wouldn't know yet, I still havent even put power to any of mine..... I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny
