I will design a box for you that is tuned to 34hz with 90 sq inch of port area and 6 cu ft big.

It should be ready in a few hours.

Dimensions: 30 inch wide, 29 inch long, 15 inch high.

Port: 10x9 inch port, lenght:27.61 inch long.

^^^this is close to 6cu ft (with displacement of port and driver.)

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

I appreciate that mang -

But.....

If the subs can wants' 5 to 8 cubes, wouldn't six cubes before displacement be like 5.75 cubes after displacement?

Isn't that kinda on the small end for it's rec.enclosure?

No, I think the box without displacement is higher than 6, maybe even higher than 7 but after port and woofer displacement is should come around to 6 cubes after all displacements.

Edit: kirill007, is that internal or external measurements? If it's external I think it might be too small.

That's what I was Thinking too - it seems a bit too small for the suggested size dimensions for the woofer -

If I can have a bigger - deeper tuned box - with all my caravan's room - I'd like to have the optimal size for the woofer -

Again it can handle 5 to 8 cubes - I think going somewhere in the middle would be best.

You know what I mean? Just to be safe

6 cubic feet will be fine for that sub if you send the 3000rms like you said. Subs will want to be in a smaller enclosure usually when over powering them.

It's giing to be less that 6 cubes after displacement - the magnet takes up 0.26 cf

I will have around 3.5k goin to it, but It will not be slammin full-torque on 3.5k -

I will be adding another sub within a few months to cut the load down to size (.5ohm)

That way I will be gettin almost 2.k from each sub

But with that small of a box - as far as lows go - I think it's pushin it

hey exo its jaysmith850 from youtube. heres what i thought up...Posted Image (just go put these dimensions into the re calculator and you'll see what it looks like)...make one box first(sub forward port forward, laying flat) then when when you get youre other sub build another one of the same boxes, and have them ports top facing forward, subs forward(sitting tall instead of flat). of couse you would need some kind of bracing, i would just double up all the walls and possibly triple baffle. whatcha think
