It doesn't look like someone can just whip up some single 18" desgins like I had hoped -

they have. but i think you're just nervous to go with any of em which i understand your want for getting a good setup right away. you'll learn that's the part of car audio...build, test, build again, and test again. you're in good hands tho especially with nightshade

@smokeumtires, nice job, but couldn't you tune it to 34, because exo listens to some quite low songs, and you shouldn't tune below 33hz, because that's the FS of the sub.

And with a longer port, you have less airspace, so better control for the cone with 3kw.

that 1.xx hz wont make a difference. plus he can get just as low tuned in the 35-36 hz range. my box now tuned around 35-36 hz gets just as low as my lower tuned boxes that i had around the 30's. i need to make a vid

To some it does, to some it doesn't makes a difference.

Depends on what sub, and depends who it is, to me it does makes a difference, it's not really huge difference, but you can hear the difference.
