Hifonics xxv Sampson for daily?

My hummer is currently in the beginning stages of a rebuild and while its down I'm playing with the idea of changing amps. I currently have 2 ddz2's not the lv version, but the original z2. They will be powering 6 massive audio dmx 15's walled off in my h2, each amp will be seeing 1.33 ohms before rise. I have a chance to get two xxv sampson's but I have heard they are not that good for daily or bass racing witch is mainly what my truck would be used for. My electrical is descent: Two 250 mechman alt, dual mla mod charging 6 kinetik 2400 and 2 kinetk 2000's @ 15.7 or 14.8 volts. Has anyone ever ran these daily? Looking for input from people that have actually ran them daily. I know they are great for burbs and put out a ton of power, any input would be appreciated, Remember this will be for music(daily) and bass racing..thanks!

i think i have the same z2s as u. 6000w version right?

i say if ur voltage is good (looks like it is ;) ) go for the sampsons, they are rated @ 2000w more...

i have only seen a sampson for burps. idk how they are daily, sorry.

Yep they are the 6000 watt version, I know I could go 16 volts and get more power, but I already spent all this money on the batts that I have. Mike with hifonics emailed me and told me why they are not recommended for daily, just curious if anyone has ran them successfully that way.

id totally keep a DD amp that you know works daily over somethign a manu telsl you not to use for certain things

get another z2?

that was my first choice, but the dmx's are quad 1 ohm coils, so 3 z2's strapped would be seeing .5 ohm each, ok for burbs but not daily

I haven't run the Sampson but my understanding is that the design really pushes the driver boards, too many output FETs (like 20+) on a driver that's really only made to push 16 of them, which is why they like to randomly blow up.
