Lsn how did you get that Cover you made to attach to your deck?? Just screws or Glue??

The rear deck port CAP is "just barely" open enough to fit over/around the outside edge/mouth of the port itself, so you have to "tap" or push pretty hard to get it on there so it's just held on by friction. The wood flexes a tiny bit so it allows for a nice snug fit and NO RATTLES yet can still be Completeley removed so he can take this to the track "as light as possible". The only thing that won't be "removable" is the wires/door speakers and deck. The entire trunk setup will come out in about 5-10 min.

Yea it's just Polyester speaker grill material where it's open and although it's stretched PRETTY TIGHT, it should still show a bit of flutter under the pressure from the subs.

This is precisely the reason I opted for NO GRILL under it for "support". It doesn't need to be structural there and if anything might just restict airflow more and/or give the cloth material something to FLAP against and ...be audible/sound funny?

OK Im doin the amp rack right now-

This just shows how the rack fits over the rear strut bar.

It'll also get screwed to the back end of the box which I just vinyled white like the front.

Amp clearence

holdin it in place to make sure the rack disappears behind the amp as much as poss.

I wrapped it in polyester stretch material but I just wasn't happy with the curves or likelyhood of having to mud the hell outta it if I resined it as is. (maad props to anyone that can cleanly wrap a skeleton-I'm still workin on that)

So I went back to the tape method that I used on the middle rack in the lexus

Basically just resined that from the inside, then lightly skinned the outside with filler/resin mix.

Then I had to re-cut/chop the gap for the rear strut bar outta the new outer Fglass/skin layers

Drilled the holes for the wiring:5 chann = 10 holes (9+10 together for the 12ga sub wires)

RCA's on the other side
