LSN2meBoom916
sorry im blind, can you post them pictures in braille insted of jpeg format? Thanks hahaha jk how loud is this one going to be? No on the braile. suck it. DEEEBEEEZ?....An exellent Q my bro-ham. Answer Fock if I know. Law n I were talkin bout it and I was sayin it will sound NICE for sure but I dunno how much a mic killer it'll be being that it's a trunk car, with around 60 square inches of "open area" not-even a tuned port just "opened up" w/ that lil chimney and the open area that will be behind the rear seats will only really help when the seats are down. Thus, if we're lucky, off the less than 500watts the subs are gonna see I'd be STOKED if it'd do close to 135db on a TL/140db epic...which we may install too Yes the stapler I use is electric. It works great when it's not jamming/broken/or out of staples. It uses T50 staples and I run 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" mostly depending on the jobby job. It's not a bad one at all considering I'm on my second one and I have been at it for over 10 yrs. LSN2meBoom916
I really like this setup. its very unique. you didn't want to put a port in the back of the box to catch the backwave? Uuuummm... Not sure what you mean by "back of the box"...You mean the sealed INNER enclosure that subs are mounted to/in? Or you talkin bout putting a port behind the seats to "port"the outer enclosure? Either way: NOPE, I didn't. I prefer a SEALED box and given the variables in this here setup with the inner/outer enclosure differences.... and chances of the tuning being F*cked after I put a ported box inside a semi sealed box and opened the rear deck but left the back end of the outer enclosure open (behind the seats)...I can only presume it would end up all muddy or VERY peaky and I want this thing MUSICAL more than anything based the owner NOT being a big rap music fan. Technically once it's all up and running if I/we don't like it I can pull the interior enclosure out and build something else/different in it's place and still retain the "sealed trunk" effect for a rattle free setup.
