CaptainzPlanetz Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 So my 6x9's gave out on me, and I have been thinking instead of replacing them with another set of 6x9's to replace em with some 6.5 RF components, do you think it will sound better than the by9s I had in there before, I am thinking it will, I am gonna use some 1/8 inch mdf or equivilent wrapped in carpet to match the interior, and mount the speaker baffle to the rear deck. So what do you guys think good move for sound clarity. If I like the set I will order a second for the front doors. Im looking for some better clarity and some midbass and I have heard the difference between the 2 and I like how the 6 1/2's sound, IMO they are much cleaner sounding. I dont really need what a by9 offers, I am just looking to up my midrange to high range, since soon I am gonna have 2 LVL4XL 12's off of about 4-5K and I need my vocals to keep up. ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............
