DC sub up and playing.

Major change of plans. I know I might upset some but I am looking toward the long run. I have decide to not run the SI-BM subs.

I am now going with 1 - 15" DC Level 3 with Level 4 voice coils, spiders, and soft parts. I still am however running the Sundown SAZ-1500D.

I have never owned a 15" sub so I am doing it now.

Now I have to tear out a box that has never seen crap and now it never will. Just for the fun of it I might put the back on it and put 1 comp 10" sub on a 150watt jbl amp that I have had laying around for the last 15 years.

Ordering my DC Level 3 15" with a Level 4 soft parts and spider upgrade, and headed to Louisana Sunday morning to pick up my SAZ-1500D.

Finally comming together. New box in the process, 4 cubes after displacement tuned to 34 htz. I should have some bass in about 2 weeks max. I hope to have some good air movement.

I know it sucks, thank god I live with my mom still. But the level 3 with level 4 soft parts is going to sound good and im sure youll find a way to get it loud!!

Just got back with the amps. Tested both and installed one in my friends truck on 1 re audio 12" SEX D2.

I got the sub and amp installed lastnight and it is working great. I have a couple of tweeks to take care of but the bass is back. Already seams louder and I haven't even truned the amp up past 1/4 way. That Sundown SAZ-1500D is kick ass and that 15" DC Level 3 with Level 4 upgrade sub is too.

4.2 cubes tuned to 34htz with 95" of port.

Just waiting on some DC decals.

And I need a custom DC one made as well. Just need the font.

Still have some tweeking to do but I can tell its a lot louder. I really need another battery and alt. but I think I will be fine till I can afford them.

Well my idea of doing fiberglass resin over the foam letters has failed. Apparently the foam is not what it used to be. The resin is eating it up. So I will have to do something else. Have an idea I might have my friend cut me a decal and do some plexiglass instead. With an etched looking decal still undecided. I am also going to be getting a cooling setup for the amp. Since it's in the trunk and sealed off from the rest of the world I need it to stay as cool as possible. I have a 12volt atv fan that will be setup to cool the amp. I will start on that tomorrow as I already have the fan an am just waiting on the rest of the cooling stuff to show up. Not sure excatly how this is going to work but it will be better than no cooling at all. I also have to get about 25 ft of black and red 8 ga wire for the subs and so e angle brackets as well. Box is built just waiting on a quote on the subs and amp from sundown.

Do you have a scroll saw could make the logo out of wood, then glass over that.
