8v fury Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Yes, I have done the basics and a little more. But I have two computer that that both have sata hard drives. Both wont boot up to windows, I am stuck and need help. I have called around to see how much computer shops want and am suprised how expensive it is. lanman31337 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Can you see the hard drives in BIOS? It's usually f1, f2, or delete to get into bios. Any splash screens, any error messages? LordArcane Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 are you trying to run IDE drive with SATA drive? i got my windows drive as IDE and my back up drive as SATA and some times i got to go into bios and set the ide as the master boot drive again might want to check that if its IDE with SATA drive Quote

I have tried everything that I could rember from computer classes I took and then even tried what you guys have said, just haven't had any luck, so now someone with more knowledge and time will be taking care of the problem computers.
