What kind of bolts do i need to fasten the wire down to the frame? Also do i need washers? I also have a optima red top battery. How can i use the side post(what length/size bolt)? How can i use the side post(what length/size bolt)? any bolt would work.....use washers and a lock washer to keep it tight, and remember to polish that metal!!! and for your battery, long enough to attach all your terminals, but not soo long that you need a dozen washers to tighten it? How can i use the side post(what length/size bolt)? well to me it looks like no one can answer that because well its your car you are gona find out if u need washers or not and as far as using the side post all u need is the bolt that goes on it (which u can get at autozone)and a ring terminal oh and the bolts to use to fasten down to the frame..well i think any really.. i might be wrong but i used a bolt from ace hardware and it works fine.
