localboy536 Posted October 4, 2009 Author Report Posted October 4, 2009 5.8ft3 is wayy to big for a pair of tens or a single twelve, so IMO i'd just start over with a new box. U wouldn't wanna spend a good amount of money on subs just to have them burn up in a box of that size. Btw that box is too big for the 9510s also, so Idk where u got the design to begin with. thats before port displacement its 3.5 after I designed it its extremely loud on my pioneer premier 1000rms 12 Which it says to have a 1.25 cuft vented enclosure and its hella loud so each ten would be getting 1.25cuft should sound good.
localboy536 Posted October 4, 2009 Author Report Posted October 4, 2009 5.8cuft before or after displacement????? either way thats freaking enormous for 2 10's or a single 12. thats enough airspace for a single 18. before 3.55 after its 14tall x 30deep x 30wide with a 7"x13.25" port

So u have a single 12 in a box that is big enough for a 15 and sum 18s?? Also how will 2 10s only be getting 1.25ft3 per sub, when after displacement its 3.5ft3?? It makes no sense. 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... It's only getting walled off if I don't meet my goal @ SBN. My box Is 14"tall by 30" wide by 30" deep With a 7"wide by 13.25" L port thats 45" deep 3.55 cuft with port and 5.8 cuft if I didnt have a port

Marlo Stanfield Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 If i read correctly you said u have 87sq in of port?? That is such an enormous amount for 2 10/1 12" sub(s). Honestly I would just start over and wait until u actually purchase subs to design and build a proper box. 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... gary2k7 Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 Why not go with an AQ 3500? $699.00 and for the subs 2 Fi Fully loaded BLs? $648.00 fully loaded for 2 10's. I've heard some get stupid loud off less power. Only 1 12" fully loaded BTL and itll be crazy loud. I haven't actually seen the BTL 12 next to 2 10" BL's but they are both breath taking imo. btw the BTL is only $449.oo fully loaded. If you want to check the prices go to either audioque.com or Ficaraudio.com hope this helps

It's wayy to big and the port area is too much also, for the pair or a single 12. Even for a single 15 i wouldn't recommend that amount of port area unless it was in a massive enclosure w/ a ton of power. 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride...
