I wouldn't run a line driver at all. I've found the Sundown amps to like a deck with a 4 volt preout. I would get one of those before I ever ran a line driver. I also have a similar problem as you with voltage drop. I sit at 14.7 at idle and when I burp the car it drops the voltage down to 11.2 volts. The best way to keep your voltage up is by adding a couple more runs of wire and also adding a high output alternator. That will be your best bet with adding the alt to keep the voltage up.

Yea, no line driver needed.

Good numbers, and you need to get a couple of - and + runs front to back indeed.

Head Unit: Alpine CDA 9887

Sub Amps: 4 RF2500's

Subs: 8 SA-12's Walled

Comp Amp: 1 RF600.2 (for now)

Comps: (4) 6.5 Punch Mid Pros and 2 Punch Pro Tweeters

Batteries: (1) XS D5100 (5) D3100

Power Cables: 2 runs of 2/0 power and ground each front to back(Try-Star)

Alternator: Dual Mechman Rhino 250's

Deadener: Fatmat / Damplifier Pro

that's an impressive score... i did a 146.8 @ 44hz on 2 dc lvl 4 xl 12s on a saz 2000d... at 11 volts..in a trunk car.... bad ass amps
