innovativeaudio
ya i seen these videos a few days ago before they were taken down, seems like it will be trendy. i cant wait till it comes out for dei dealers instead of just best buys, and the iphone smart start app will work virtually anywhere. there are no distance limitations. It will work with all the "Clifford" LE on up. not sure the models from viper or python.

01xtreme
x2 then that's where the traditional remote comes in, but I dont see it being too big of an issue, there probably aren't THAT many places you cant even get cell service. Shyne151
I had Directed training today and they talked about the SmartStart. It will operate on AT&T's cellular network... it will also work with the ipod touch as long as you have a wifi connection. They say if it takes off other networks could be added(Verizon, Sprint, etc...) which would put the option on phones other than the iPhone. -Installer for Duke's Car Stereo 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix - Ported Eaton M90 S/C, 3.5" pulley, XS Power Headers, 1.9 Rockers, FWI, Poly Motor Mounts, Custom Tune. bobonit
It's not an app, but I do know they make OBD II scanners that transmit to your phone real-time via bluetooth...looked them up while doing a school project for Research In Motion (Blackberry). The one I have is this: OBDKey Comes with the software to run on my Windows Mobile phone. I can read all the OBD Gauges as well as read and clear any diagnostic codes. Don't know if they have software for iphone though. 97 Maxima SE Bunch of shit going in, check out the build Build Log
