28 tall in a trunk?

you cut the floor out and make a custom floor board or something?

Nope. My dad has an 04 crown vic and the trunk is at least that tall. It's a lot of space that could be used for some serious destrucktion. :spiteful:

There's enough airspace for (5) LVL 5 12"s (assuming you use the shelf at the front too). :spiteful:

first with some serious creativity I think it could be done, 2nd you dont need no 1" thick wood, 3/4 will work great if you brace properly and glass the shit out of it, which you will have to do anyway to get proper airspace,

10 cubes after displacement with that kind of power sounds good to me.

3rd get cracken already I wanna see this, hell id love to take a crack at it myself, fly me out ill do it fairly cheap lol

Quick off topic -

Wanna come visit South Florida just after the new year?? lol... If i have leftover money after products I'd be more than happy to have a hand with building my "big" setup coming soon. Doing 16 12s or 8 15s off 16-20k with only help from friends who aren't the most intelligent with wood working or installing. I'll show you what Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, and the Keys are made of lol.

1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... It's only getting walled off if I don't meet my goal @ SBN.

Pioneer AVIC-N2

(12) 12" RE SXs old model.... (3) AB VFL 500.1 @ 1ohm each

Dual 300amp Ohio Gen alts.... (10) Northstar NSB-125s

26ft3 @ 33hz w/ a ton of port area

156.5 @ 40hz @ dash, Db Drag style / 153.2 Bassrace

hey all. The crown vic just got finished getting bagged tonite at the shop after 2.5 weeks. Gunna hopefully pick it up tomorrow. This weekend is one of the biggest car shows in Florida, Slamfest. So I am getting my dad's truck all finished and ready in time by Friday. After that car show is over Il focus all my attention to the vic and will order the subs and amps, get 250amp alt and batteries then have the build done by sometime November.

Can't wait!
