99vic Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 ok so im wanting to build a box for my vic. i have been talking about porting it through the rear deck. but now i am hearing from a couple people. it will cause cancellation. i have seen a few cars like this but this is the first i have heard about cancellation, any know if its true or not? raytard Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 anything can create cancelation 4th order ported through the rear deck is going to be a good bet, as is subs and ports in back deck. something like a sub back port thru deck setup should work fine, but the key word is "should" sometimes you just gotta try stuff out. 99vic Posted October 11, 2009 Author Report Posted October 11, 2009 ya i know a 4th order will work i have seen them done in a crown vic, but i have heard they are tricky to work with. subs and port wont fit unless i do something really small. guess ill have to see what happens porting it through the deck. loganberry Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 i think a 4th order would be the easiest to build tbh, find someone good to design it for you, it would be a nice clean rectangle in the rear deck to cut out, and the wood could look much smoother looking there My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
