subs in trunk port through deck

I say gut that rear deck like this,

This one I still have to do some speakers back there and a trim piece, and the rear deck should look alright when done

But doing this was a good idea, it sounds great, and loud as hell on 1- SAZ1500

and no coil smell.. lol

does that basically make ur trunk car like a hatch/suv cabin right?

Since you're doing a T-line, do you just plan to shake your trunk lid off or do you want to seal it off somehow?

I had been thinking about your bandpass idea and really think it can be done. My idea involved using that small, 10 inch- high space above your gas tank for the front chamber of the box and the large bottom square hole for the subs and rear chamber.

With a transmission line 15, I think you would have enough space under the deck to fold a lot of port up into that area, but where would you vent it to? Also, where would the sub be mounted? Would it be possible to have the sub rear-firing into the t-line port (as described above) and front-firing into a chamber sealed into the cabin on one side of the port?

As long as the port surface area and length are proper, I don't think the sub will be adversely affected by the small chamber it sees on the side.

well im cutting out the deck lid anyway. there is no way i can leave it in and have anything sound decent. as far as having the sub firing into theport i have no clue i have never messed with a tline before.

what about safety. that back deck is used for support?
