I guess you mean solder?

I just use plain ol 60/40 stuff from radioshack, Lowes, ACE, Pep Boys, wherever.

Plain stuff is great for cables, it's cheap and easy to use.. The stuff we use in alternators is 96.5/3/.5 Tin/copper/silver and it has a very high melting point and unreal tensile strength.. We also have some stuff we use that is good for 800°F, and silver solder that is good for 1350°.. For soldering cables though, anything you can get that is reasonably priced and rosin core is good because if you ever need more than 350° on your cables, your in trouble!!!
