bcuz thats whut i was told whut to do from people on here and a local guy. Like i said before it performs normal but has a bad sound coming from down by the magnent

Might be bottoming out. IDK for sure.

He meant that you fail for driving the amp to clipping. You do not want the clip light to come on at all. When it comes on, it's clipping very badly already.

ya im probably going to send it in. but from whut ive read on here about the audioques clipping light is that its a little sensitive and to set it at the highest peak the light will come on for a little blurp here and there when the kicks hit. But yes when i get it repairded im going to try out whut u said earlier in the post. thanks

you realize you can order a recone and intstall it yourself.. and about that blinkin light you heard wrong.. you dont wanna see it.. watching the video again it looks like the light starts to come on about halfway up on the bass knob.. if so its time to readjust your amp. that light should barely flicker when the bass knob is cranked.

Re-adjust the gain. That light should not come on even when the knob is cranked to the maxx.

EDIT: I posted before hitting refresh. Chewie beat me too it.

Is that the KDC-X592?

I'm betting it is because that's what I have...good HU but when using an iPOD and through the USB its horrible, searching takes forever and I only have a 4gb Nano...the AUX is horrible so it doesn't help relieve the stress...

What are your deeper settings like Freq and Q-Factor?

i will and why get rid of the cap? the cap seemed to push out more power that way than without it

im not gonna go into why you should/shouldnt have a capacitor. theres a major thread on here already discussing that.

the cap helps smooth out the voltage peaks on your charging system.. its not hurting a damn thing being there.. he already said he has a battery in the back..
