so i went to pepboys today to get the carbon fiber vinyl wrap which i thought was a huge roll but it turns out to be a 23" by 17" sheet for 22 dollars and it looked absolutely nothing like carbon fiber. it looked more like a checkerboard than carbon fiber and wasnt nearly big enough so does anyone know where i can get a carbon fiber vinyl that actually looks like real carbon fiber but not as expensive and in a pretty big roll?

guys seriously cmon 30 dollar subs are NOT going to flex this box. i dont know where youre coming up with subs will flex the box regardless cause ill bet anything these subs wont flex the box at all. as long as it LOOKS cool thats all that will matter cause he wants a nice ass box to pop the trunk and show off. 1/2in mdf is plenty thick enough for these subs. these subs would have a hard time trying to flex a cardboard box.

I understand what chevy is saying, but I also understand what amalan is saying too tho. Its going to be funny how shitty this setup is going to be, and please tell me you're pushing it with an amp that says 500 watts and is about the size of your wallet LOL

1986 C20 Suburban

9 American Bass XFL 15's

B2 M1MKII

14v XS Power Batteries

Maxwell Caps

Acoustical energy is free. Electrical energy is not

you havent lived until you've hit a screw with a router.

yep :) haha i havent really chosen an amp yet but its gonna be an amp thats the size of my wallet and have 4000 watts!!! written across it

logitech sub boxes are made of 1/2in so im basing my knowledge of that fact since i know the logitechs will pwn this setup without a doubt

you seriously doubt that logitech will pwn these visoniks??? those logitechs are on par or better than most best buy subs. i mean its not like i dont have a general idea what loud is i have 2 12s and im saying those 8s get really damn loud for what they are comparing them to 12s. i mean its a tough idea to believe that computer speakers can actually be that loud but you would be surprised if you heard them relative to what they are.

oh btw chevy boy to give you an idea of what these 8s can do

http://youtube.com/watch?v=KkvxsM_zeJA

if those visoniks top that then im gonna run all visonik from here on out

well im gonna be surprised, as im sure everyone else will be, if these visoniks actually hit lol.

but considering the logitech is about twice as powerful as the visoniks 188watts at 8ohm vs 200watts at 4ohm i dont think the visoniks will sound as loud.
