Marlo Stanfield Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Email Rusty, he'll know best.. Why wouldn't u just run lvl4s with that amount of power?? But something in the area of 5.5ft3 @ 34hz w/ 75sq in of port, idk how well something like that will fit in a pretty tiny trunk. Quote 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... fox_racin4 Posted October 21, 2009 Author Report Posted October 21, 2009 they have the level 4 coils in them so their rms is about 1000rms or so ive got them in 3.9 at 34 with about 71 square inchs of port Quote 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
X2.H10.V4 Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 How about a clam shell type enclosure? You don’t have room for 4 10's and port area on a flat baffle. Another option would be a 4th order, with port firing forward or through the rear deck. Quote
fox_racin4 Posted October 22, 2009 Author Report Posted October 22, 2009 heres an idea of what i was thinking but i was told its more less a 6th order with the smaller chamber being so smalll its useless and tunned super high so it wouldent affet much i want to keep it all in the trunk of the car tho thats the thing im willing to fire it all forward and seal it off if i can get a box thats got subs and port all firing forward Quote 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
Sanitarium Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 theres the box i used in my 96 cavalier. just barely would fit in through the trunk opening.. 2 12" eD 13kv.2's - 2.5 cubes tunes to 32 hz. Quote
AI James Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 they have the level 4 coils in them so their rms is about 1000rms or soive got them in 3.9 at 34 with about 71 square inchs of port um no, slapping a coil in a motor that has less strength then the sub that is 1000rms doesnt make it a 1000rms sub. sorry to burst your bubble but it just dont work like that. fox_racin4 Posted October 22, 2009 Author Report Posted October 22, 2009 ive got my back seat cut out so i can slide box in threw the back with a bigger opening and my back seat is still functional! fox_racin4 Posted October 22, 2009 Author Report Posted October 22, 2009 with the box they are in now ( 3.9 at 34) they dont get much excursion unless its under tunning or way over Quote 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
