Crump Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Im running about 60 watts to my door speakers and using 18 guage speaker wire. I ran the wire to the head unit and used the stock wire to go from there. (so I didnt have to go through any door jams). I took my speaker out today and see exposed wire, I dont think it was because of the wire being too small, but because it got caught on something in the door. Just looking to clear my mind, so 18 guage good for 60 watts on roughly 15 foot of wire. kingsuv Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Most of the time, I will run my speaker wire from the amp up back into the wire harness to go to the speakers. I have ran plenty of power to my door speakers with no issues Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
