Is The Rockford Power T3002 Amp Powerfull Enough?

Recommended Posts

you should actualy get the dual 4 ohm so you can wire it to 2 ohm mono and get the most out of that amp. but if you get the dual 4 then you will def be set with that amp

But... its stable in 1 ohm.

and if i get the dual 2 then both channels will bridge to 1 ohm on the d2 sub? right? =)

or do i need it to be 0.5 ohm stable for that? :o

Yeah it's 1ohm stable, but if you're only going to run one sub, I'd go with a monoblock amp such as:

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_2810_R...-06+MODEL-.html

4 15" FI Q D2's in 12 cubes tuned to 32hz

1- T1000.1bd's

3 Maxx 29 deep cycles

4 runs of 1/0 gauge

-Big 3

-Trunk sealed off from the cabin

Custom 15.8 dual-volt switching MLA module

All in a CAR.

however there are no retailers that sells thoose amps in sweden. and the shipping is almost 200$

How would a "MDS Dynamic D1" 800 W (2 ohm RMS: 1200 W) amp do? its a bit more expencive but... :) im pretty sure it would do ;)

Oh... Sweden! From what I've seen, MDS looks like just another cheap company like legacy or pyle. Are there any other options to choose from besides those two?

If you get the dual 4ohm version like chode said you should be powering it beautifully, it on average puts out about 800 watts rms bridged at 2ohm

I'd say go for the RF T3002 with a single dual 2ohm VC sub.
