im thinking about selling the subs and adding another 1000 for 16 10's

That might make it hit higher #s, especially if the 10s like playing a bit higher. Wasn't your peak # @ 60 hz or so? If you went with the 10s, why not tune high (like 42-52?) I dunno... and test it out. You could always build a box with big open mouth ports- that would tune higher. Then you could put in inserts to lower the tuning for the daily.
