trainman0978
But I was looking at Dom's suburban planning thread and he asked about how gotz1lung did his box design .... which was in sketchup... There is a magazine out, currently, at the book stores and at places like home depot... it is a wood working magazine, a special edition ( its about 10 bucks ) .... I was flipping through it the other day in home depot, it has a lengthy article in there about how to design furniture and shop fixtures in google sketchup. It has a really great tutorial that talks about how all of the features of sketchup work and how to implement them... here is the cover of it. It would most certainly apply to box building and general MDF design work for car audio. 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser Voo Doo Blue my upgrades and "build" thread. AI James
the tutorial that comes with it tells you how to use it, its not really worth it to me to spend money to learn a program my 9 year old daughter can design boxes on.
trainman0978
some folks can figure it out, some can't. Derrick824
Go to youtube. Lots of free instructional vids about using Sketchup. There's also a Sketchup tutorial on every car audio forum online.
